In an effort to complete the database of the thousands of 'Fritz Stehwiens', especially the sold, given away and lost paintings, we invite comments from any and all owners. For future exhibitions, or the planned publishing of a series of books, we would also welcome the option of adding sold works into the collection. If desired, anonymity is assured.
The city of Tangermünde, near Fritz's birth place in Germany, hosted such an exhibit in 2004.
He only 'attended' via email and video cam, but was thrilled to see the sometimes forgotten works that the curator had brought together and borrowed from owners in the area.
